We generally start out by using a drain “snake” or “auger” to break the blockage loose to be pushed through the system or to pull the debris back through and get rid of it. However, in some cases, a snake isn’t enough because the clog is too slippery for the augers on the snake to attach to. When this is the case, we will use a method called Hydro jetting. This is a process that uses very high pressure blasts of water, sometimes around 35,000 psi to blast the debris and slime away and flush it through the system.
